Travelling in London Transport
By Train:
By Bus:
British Rail - Woolwich Arsenal Station (3 minutes' walk). On the main line from London Bridge to Dartford and Kent. Trains leave London Bridge regularly and usually from Platforms 1 or 4. If you are coming from elsewhere, aim to change at London Bridge onto a train heading from a central London terminus (Charing Cross or Cannon Street) towards Dartford.
London Underground - North Greenwich (15 minutes' bus ride). London Underground is the most popular railway network in which all routes are named and colour-coded for the convenience of everyday commuters. The Jubilee Line runs through central London eastwards towards Stratford, passing south of the Thames through North Greenwich station, from where the 472 bus operates to Woolwich and beyond. However, Woolwich's best connection to the Underground is now by the Docklands Light Railway (DLR). Woolwich Arsenal DLR station opened ahead of schedule in January 2009, so now the DLR offers fast travel to and from places north of the Thames.
By Bus:
Woolwich is a very convenient place for bus travellers, but you need to know the best bus number(s) for the shortest route to the College.

By Car:
There are two major roads that serve Woolwich. The South Circular, A205, ends here and also meets the North Circular, A406, via the Woolwich Ferry. If coming from the South, follow the A205, turn right on the set of traffic lights just before the end of South Circular Road (A205) and the roundabout. The College is 300m from the traffic lights. If you are coming along the east-west A206, just turn into the town centre when you arrive at Woolwich. There is ample parking in Woolwich for visitors, but no parking at the campus.
