By train
National Rail - Woolwich Arsenal Station is 3 minutes' walk from the College, served by regular trains on a main line from London to Kent. If you are coming from elsewhere, it is usually best to pick up this train at London Bridge station, usually on Platform 1 or 4, heading south-east towards Dartford.

London Underground
This network is convenient for newcomers because all its routes are named and colour-coded. The Jubilee Line heads east from the heart of London, to end at Stratford, stopping at North Greenwich, from where you can catch a regular bus service taking 15 minutes to reach Woolwich, near the College. The Docklands Light Railway (DLR) extension to Woolwich Arsenal station is due to open early in 2009; until then its nearest station is King George V, 30 minutes' walk away through the Woolwich Foot Tunnel under the Thames.
