The importance of sound knowledge of one or more of the major international languages is at the heart of all Anglian College London courses. 

English Language Training

We normally have arrangements in which English is taught by someone whose first language is English and most of whose education and career has been learning and teaching English language and literature. This is in contrast to some other colleges and university around who employ overseas teachers whose mother tongue is not even English. Our students are guided throughout their course duration by  native English speakers who has completed at least CELTA, Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults.

In this era of seemless globalisation, whatever lingual background you may have, learning and even mastering English is pre-requisition to anything you do or intend to do.

There are minimum requirements to be met in terms of language awareness and skills before one can directly take part in the further education courses the College is providing. It is always a good idea to brush up existing language skills even if one feels that he or she is adequately equipped for the course.

In most cases English language tuition (exam fees excluded) is free for all students who are enrolled in one of the Anglian College London courses and has been authorised to attend those classes on part time basis. However, the students are liable to pay the full required fees if English is enrolled on as the only course or a full time course.

English for International Students (EIS)

From April 2009, for a small fee, the College is offering its EIS programme as part of its Pre-session course for those students who require extra help in English before they can start their programmes of study proper.  Although EIS is the College's own programme, it is considered to be a very student-friendly way of delivering language training at a level comparable to other popular common English language programmes. French, Spanish, Chinese

In addition to mainstream English language programmes, we offer tuition for other major languages of strategic signficance in the world. Minimum number of attendants is required before such special courses can be delivered. One thing for sure, you will receive tuition only from native or someone qualified to teach such languages - bit of a piece of mind for you.

The language courses other than English e.g.  French, Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese etc. have to be paid for.
