Getting Your Fees Back from Anglian

This will confront you with the painful fact that education (and associated processes like visa applications and accommodation) are not products that you can just take back to a supermarket to be sold to someone else.  Most refunds are subject to minimum administration charges.  In common with most other educational establishments, Anglian College London, needs to have tough policies and procedures about refunds.  Sorry, but good education needs a lot of advance planning.

All refunds at Anglian College are governed by our Tuition Fees and Refund Policy, as well as by other directives promulgated but not yet incorporated to the Policy.  An extract of the policy is published in our advertising materials, prospectuses, websites and especially, as part of Terms and Conditions (ToC) of Application. You are asked to read it before submitting the application. Your submission of an application means that you understand and agree to abide by the conditions.

To start a refund process, we must have received your application for refund along with necessary paperwork before the deadlines as we will NOT process any refund request received after that - you have been warned!

For example, if your visa application was unsuccessful and you would like us to refund your money to you or into your account, we must have received your declaration form/application for refund, visa refusal letter, all original documents sent by us including accommodation letter sent by us and Shelter London within 60 days of the refusal date. We will do our best to make the process time shorter, but after all the documents are duly received, it may take up to 8 weeks for you to receive your money back due to our administrative work, one of which involves checking with the BHC, British Embassy or Consulate in your country whether your claim is valid. We will not be required to process the refund request received later than the deadlines given and received without any one of the original documents sent by us. We can confirm that most of our applicants who have sent all documents on time and as necessary have received their money back earlier than the said 8 weeks.

We refund money only to the person, agency or party that paid it into our account, unless we receive an explicit and verifiably genuine request by them to give it to someone else.  Also we try to ensure that money movements do not breach money laundering laws.  Please understand that we will not refund your money to someone in the UK if it was paid in from overseas or vice-versa (because operations of this type are often used by fraudsters).
